❗️Bitcoin & Crypto can be stored off exchanges using hardware or software wallets, this means if an exchange gets hacked your coins will be stored safely, unfortunately exchange hacks happen relatively frequently e.g. Mt Gox, Cryptsy, Bitfinex, Cryptopia, Kucoin & many more so its important you secure your savings.

❗️ If your bitcoin or crypto can't be stored out side of a website in either a hardware or software wallet, there is a high probability you have invested in a scam.

❗️Only download software wallets directly from official websites. Be careful of fake clone websites that rank highly using Google ads, that fraudulently pretend to be official.

❗️Make sure your computer has adequate antivirus protection from trojans and keyloggers.

❗️Do not keep your "seed"/wallet passphrase stored digitally, write it on paper and store safely.

❗️Make sure to keep the software wallet up to date for optimal security.
